Our Qualifications

Daniel Cochran founded CDCochran & Co. as a logical extension of the financial, accounting and tax consulting practice operated by his Certified Public Accounting firm, Decision Management Group. Mr. Cochran began his public accounting career with Arthur Andersen in 1974 after graduating from the Indiana University School of Business with a bachelor`s degree in accounting. After ten years as a business consultant specializing in accounting and finance, Daniel went to work for a major client, spending more than seven years in various roles from Controller to Vice President - Finance and Administration. With small business consulting and individual financial planning as goals, Mr. Cochran left private industry to return to the consulting arena. Decision Management Group became the vehicle. Then CDCochran & Co. was formed to segregate the financial planning and investment advisory services from the balance of his consulting services. A current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society, Daniel continues to develop the quality of services needed in today`s competitive marketplace by attending numerous continuing education programs necessary to keep current his CPA, securities and insurance licenses.
